Mornin all.

Any members know of a store that sells ginger ale in either Sakon Nakhon or the Udon Thani area ? I've had a pretty good look but no luck so far. Just get a blank look when I ask or try & describe.

May not help for your area but Makro stock it as I have bought in Buriram and Pattaya.

I think I have seen it in Big C as well.

Makro in Udon Thani usually stocks it. My wife bought a six-pack of Schweppes Dry Ginger Ale there on Thursday.

Scweppes has made a comeback in Udon. Both the ginger ale and tonic water are available in cans at Makro, the big Lotus on the way to Nong Bua, and the Villa Market.

BTW, Villa tells me they are working on closing up shop in Tukcom and reopening in UD Town.

We live in a smallish village 24k west of Sakon Nakhon. Dong Mafai, a small town about 5k up the road, has a pretty good 7-ll. A couple more attached to petrol/ gas stations either direction on Highway 22.

I think I live almost as far away as one can get to a seven eleven, 22 kilometers, but then there are three to choose from, two Tesco Lotus Expresses, and one Big C Market.

Thanks to all who advised where to look. Yesterday afternoon bought a case of Schweppes Nam King, Makro, Sakon Nakhon.
