OK it's only about a month or so before the January sales start. Looking at the present position of some 'top' clubs it seems to me that there will be pressure on trying to strengthen the sides. Also, we mustn't forget that those sides who were not expected to do well but are, might also try to get into the market.

So, who is rumoured to come in?

If I were a Liverpool fan I'd want a very experienced goalkeeper as a priority, I've suggested Petr Cech.

Chelsea seem to be the only team that doesn't have a need to buy.

Some of their football has been breathtaking and no-one else even comes close.

I very much doubt that Saints will let any more players go now that Koeman has the team playing so well.

Well Toad the rumor mill should interest you then. Vlaarr and Vertonghen being linked for center back and Strootman deal supposed to be verbally agreed. He'd be your central midfield, defensive midfield or able to take on a role of deep playmaker.

Very interesting january for United fans i reckon.

What we want or what we need at Liverpool seem to be very different from what our owners/transfer committee/manager are able to sign.
