House Rental In Udon Thani

Hello folks,

Can anyone point me in the right direction for house rental within 10k of the ring-road around the Nong Sai / Samprao area.

Im from Phuket where the solution is to jump on a bike and ride around the preferred area. I don't believe there are many Baan Chao signs around, at least I didn't spot any recently.

Appreciate any pointers.

Cheers

Well nothing differetnt here, just no signs, you got to stop and ask neighbors and usually the noodle shops in the area will know about them. At the moment I think there are several available in that price range in First Homes, but I'm really not sure about the prices, since I'm not really on the search any longer.

Thanks for that, Ray. I'll be up there in a couple of weeks to resume the hunt. As you say, Noodle shops are the best source of all info.

BTW, can't wait to get out of Phuket; had a gut load especially of construction traffic ..... everywhere !!!

Thanks for that; This could well be useful, just a couple of questions; is it on the north-east side of the city and are the owners "dog" friendly, we have three !! I shall be up there very early September, perhaps we could hook up.

Whatever; many thanks for the reply

Yes ok; but the classifieds on there are mainly farang rentals; who double the thai price, as do the "real estate" agents (is there such a thing as unreal estate?) who advertise there.

Base Line. Get a car....drive outside the ring road, ask your TW/TG to ask at a shop, and a comfortable rental is available for 4000 or less per month. Some farang pay 8000...the people (thai) next door pay 4000 :o

If you dont know it allready try udonrealestate.com :D

And..whatever you decide..do not do this. Unless of course you enjoy paying over the odds and being a subject of derision from your Thai friends and people in the same street. It will be subtle..hehe Up to you..as they say :o
