Nakhon Ratchasima: Blind children home.

Featured Replies

According to what I have been told, there should be a home for the blind children in Korat.
Does anybody know where this home is located?
Addresses of other disabled children homes are also welcome.

TIA

There is a school for blind children in/near Korat.

Address and tel. in Thai here;

On that cfbt site more locations can be found (Bangkok, Khon Kaen, Roi Et, Petchaburi, Nakhon Nayok, Lopburi, Songkla).

I don't know anything about the blind children's home in Korat, but there is a "Children's home" approx. 15 km outside Korat city on the main Korat/Isan to Bangkok motorway (Mittraphap Road). It's on the left hand side as you are driving from Korat to Bangkok. The entrance is quite small and rather well hidden with bushes and plants. The place is a km or two after the Nawa Nakhon Industrial Zone and BEFORE Seagate.

People generally bring food, ice-cream and sweet things to the kids.

The CFBT school in Khon Kaen has a tradition that persons, for some occasions mainly birthdays, will come to the school on a Sunday and sponsor the lunch for the children

Hi meatboy. Have you found an orphanage for blind kids in Korat? If do, would you mind sharing the address or location?
