Where can I find anyone who wants to rent an apartment in Phuket Town?

I tried a Google search, but I can't find many who would like to rent an apartment in Phuket Town now.

I signed a 6-months contract for a 1-bedroom apartment at Supalai Park in Phuket Town (just by the old bookstore, newly built big condo complex). I want someone else to take over my contract (8,500 baht per month, big swimming pool, gym etc., on the 12th floor with beautiful views of the surrounding hills). How difficult will it be to find someone interested and where should I search?

I would say you are just going to have to walk away and forfeit your deposit.

So many properties for sale, and for rent, on the market these days.

You would have to be extemely lucky for an individual to take a fancy on your particular location and apartment.

In your lease agreement, are you allowed to sub-lease?

Better check with the owner first as sub-leasing is usually not allowed. It takes away the owner's right to choose what type of person stays in their property.
