I Dialed 009 First

Last year when I dialed 009 then country code then phone number I got my calls overseas for 8 baht a minute. I tried this 2 days ago to Sweden and I would have spoken for a minute or under 2 minutes for sure and I got charged 50 baht for the call. Has AIS pulled the rug from under us with the 009 cheap calls? Anyone know?

Check rates at:

http://web1.cattelecom.co.th/759209b2c368f...enet_46_en.html

It is only a limited amount of countries being very cheap...

Sweden is normaly billed at 16 Baht/minute (+vat)

You'll probably called for 2.01 minutes resulting in being charged for 3 min. at 48 Baht (+7%vat)

On the other discount providers (007, 008) Sweden is not included for the very cheap rates either. You'll be cheaper but just a little bit compared to the 001 network

I thought that CAT charged only for the first minute in full after that they charge in chunks of 6 seconds (one tenth of a minute). I can confirm from my last bill that this is still the case using 001.
