Hiring A Truck For Moving House

Featured Replies

Does anyone have / know of anyone who has, a decent sized vehicle that could be used for moving furniture across town here in hua hin?

we have beds, sofas etc to move about 10 km..... from soi 102 to hua hin.... can all be shifted in one day i think

a self drive truck, or a truck with driver and / or shifters would be ideal

any one got any numbers or know of anywhere that hires out such a vehicle / offers such a service?

we are of course willing to pay the farnag price for this wai.gif

Usually you can see pickup or bigger trucks parked along side the roads with Phones numbers on cardboard,

the cost may vary but it is around 2000-2500 Thb per trip.

Look around your area if you see them, be aware that it would be better if you spoke thai, most of them do not have a

good command of English. There's no foreigner/thai price, price is the same for all.

2-2500 Baht a trip? I doubt that very much

A long time ago I helped a Thai friend move, we probably did around 7 trips and the cost was 800 Baht for the day, we did however do the loading ourselves, the driver wanted extra to help

As said they park or side streets with for rent/numbers on side - if you do not know where to look suspect any motorcycle or other driver will take you there - as said best to have Thai speaker to advise if extra people are going to be required to safely move larger items and about how much.
