hi there just arrived in rawi and looking for some banter in a scottish bar any recommendations?

I don't ever think I've seen a Scottish themed bar. There is an Irish one in Rawai.

Same shit, different smell.

Check out The Breakfast Hut in Rawai. (Map on Tripadvisor). Owned by a Scottish guy, he can point you in the right direction.

It is more than possible to have banter in a Thai bar, especially if you follow football.

Coming all the way to Phuket to look for a Scottish bar seems a bit odd to me when there are lots of Scottish bars in Scotland.

Sure. Once in a slightly flipped out mood, I spent a night in Pattaya going from one Dutch or Flemish bar to another, in all these places only Dutch was spoken. The back to the womb feeling didn't materialize, had more kind of an aborted feeling at the end of the night.

Thanks mates for help, ended up going to orange bar and guess what....chatting to some tourists in there and discovered there is a brand new scottish bar called the kilt and haggis in soy naya behind family mart. what a great night..going there just now again to pay my bill got so drunk i forgot to pay..(bar girl very nice too i think)

Ahhhhhh yes i remember happyguy well......He is responsible for decimating my malt whisky stock !!!!! At least he says hes coming in to settle 3.4 grand bar bin i can call off the hounds now

You sure you are going to Khon Kaen way up north in Issan ? Not much tourist night life up there, all Thai style night life.

Now theres someone who knows the bars in aberdeen, sad to see it closed now, made history on tv a few years ago as the roughest / worst bar in scotland, be disapointed the bruce if you were a patron there ! but each to his own
