Starting a company for the sake of employment visa X elite visa

Hello,

I went to see a lawyer today to find out the costs of opening a company so I could get an employment visa.

Opening the company is a fairly easy process and not very expensive but I was overwhelmed by the accounting and tax fillings that are required in Thailand. I was always surpised how expensive an accountant is here but now after learning of all the crap that needs to be filed every month, every quarter and at the end of the year I realized the amount of work involved.

Anyway I came to the conclusion that opening a company for the sake of getting an employment visa will be more expensive than just getting an elite visa.

Even running a company at the bare minimum requirements will cost more than 100K a year.

If anyone here has expenses of less than 100k a year please post it here or send me a private message. I am not happy about having to spend 500k on the elite visa but it looks inevitable at this point.
