plumber required

Featured Replies

This is a bit of a long shot but I am looking for an experienced plumber to deal with hot water copper pipe installation in Khenmarat, Ubon. And contacts will be very appreciated.

Doubt you we find anyone that has used copper around here. Have not even seen any fittings in any of the hardware stores. Pvc or black pipe are your options.

The store that sells the copper hot water pipe might be a good start in your search. They would know what local tradesmen buy this product on a regular basis and pay their bill on time with the store. I had green PPR pipe installed in the house I built for my wife in Buriram Province. Same plumber from 7 years ago was at my home today to change out a kitchen faucet that was provided free under the 12 year warranty. You must have good quality water to consider copper water pipes if one believes this Bangkok firm's web page: http://www.cosmothai.com/HOT%20WATER%20SYSTEM.php Do you mind me asking, why did you select copper hot water pipes rather than PPR hot water pipes in rural Thailand?

Very surprised you have copper plumbing. I have never seen it used in Thailand.

Topdeck,

I have sent you a PM

Ppr is an option. But you can buy copper pipe in do-home in Ubon, but all their recommended fitters are in Ubon, 100 km away from me and as you all must know Thai Tradesmen/women don't really like to travel for small jobs.

Bathroom all finished and very nice it is too. Having a hot shower for the first time in this cold weather we are having is a real luxury here in Isaan. Had the local air-conditioning fitters in to plumb in my water heater with copper pipe installation in the end. Very neat.

Any chance you can post some pix?

I am very impressed you found a plumber to work with copper.

Was it 10mm microbore or 15mm?
