Still don't get what Mason and Carroll are still doing at the club if Bentaleb's going. Must be more to it than this.

I also remember Bentaleb proving to be a very competent stand at left back and baring in mind what a specialist position that is thats a big bonus.

Decision can't be just about ability. Pritchard in fairness has a lot of quality players vying for a position. Just unlucky really, but a player that we should hold out to get good money for.

Reckon Chadli could be on his way too for 10m plus which would represent a nice little profit.

' don't disagree that he's a better player than mason or carroll,  seems the only thing that it can be is goal threat  bentaleb hasn't offered ANYTHING in front or threatened  goal in any games i've seen him in.'edit ',, under potts rule

Pritchard off to Norwich.  Wish him well but such a shame it didn't work out with him at Spurs.

On a footnote,  with Vertonghen and Wimmer having played no pre season i think theres a high chance Carter-Vickers will start with Toby up at Everton.

Must have been the Oslo air and "home" supporters in Norway that helped them. Spurs on fire against Milan. Lets wait and see how good they really are . But I expect them to stay in top 4 all season.

No surprise there then.

The grotty discoveries officially made Spurs the dirtiest team in the Premier League last term with a paltry Food Standards Agency score of 3/5.

Yes it is.  Rob Mackenzie who is also involved in recruitment going too.  Mitchell, i'm hearing has worked a long notice period and could be heading to Everton.

Its all very cloudy this.

whoops, was gonna stick a link up about mitchell leaving but see stevie h beat me to it. Anyone who thinks they are gonna walk in and take over transfers from levy, is either doubly stupid or  illiterate cos its been banged all over the papers for the last ??? years levy does that, likes it and as a rule of thumb pretty good at it

Difficult to comment and as you know with Levy there will be a no disclosure clause and nothing will ever be revealed.

There seems to be a big cloud over this one.  The ITK sites have little or nothing either, just speculation.

the ' targets'  wont change, or the intent to bring youngsters through wont go away, so cant see much changing,

but in all fairness ' director of footie' or what ever title you wish to call it has a touch of ' poisoned chalice' about it, the last guy got stick for they way we spent the bale money, but, i'm going into this season FULLY EXPECTING

it to now to look at the bulk of  it as money relatively well spent,, but the bottom line is football is departmentalizing skill sets and certainly at the top end of the footie chain, owners/ managers running the whole of the football club is rapidly becoming a thing of the past.

A pity that just before the season starts this little drama unfolds. First fly in the soup during the Pochettino era ? I blame Levy. That guy could mess up a wet dream.

Hopefully it will end in a spectacular signing who makes our team sparkle with excitement.
