I don't think any of the Tottenham players will be looking forward

to playing there when they see the state of their pitch!

Half the pitch is covered with sand, Poch will need to give the Spurs squad a crash coarse in beach football to get them prepared.

And I doubt Rochdale will try to do anything to improve the condition before the match

I'm delighted with the win and also to see so many of our injured players returning.

Great news heading into the business end of the season! :post-4641-1156694572:

And i don't blame them.  I'd really get stuck into us too.

Contrary to belief, Rochdale folk don't wear cloggs and flat caps but I reckon they'll don their Peaky Blinders and cloggs on that day

It's gonna be interesting to see how poch is gonna use the players returning from injuries in the next 3 games.

Saturday : in the NLD

Tuesday : Juve Away UCL

Sunday :  Rochdale Away FA Cup

I'm thinking on Saturday he's gonna leave out :

Rose, Toby, Aurier, Winks, Lamela & Wanyama and play them on

Tuesday against Juve.

Then play the 11 that started against Man Utd & Liverpool in the NLD.

Not been for a while, but Rochdale used to do great pies, with chips, gravy and mushy peas. Would make a good pre-match meal.

I think that makes sense.  Frankly, apart from tightening up defensively and not conceding stupid goals theres no reason for a change.  One exception might be Wanyama but since he played last night it looks like he'll stick with Dier.

i also think think the added pace of Rose and Aurier might be more useful in unsettling Juve.

Maybe our new lad will get a start somewhere too.

Impact sub i'd have thought.  Too good an option not to have on the bench

To be fair, i can't see Winks getting much starting time while Dier, Wany and Dembele are fully fit and once Toby come's back into the starting line up probably against Juventus then i see him being a regular at the expense of Sanchez.

Can't see him changing the front 4 about too much apart from injuries of course.

P.s. If Dembele isn't fit for Juventus i can see him playing Wany and Dier perhaps with Dier in a five at the back.

THE best in all 4 divisions. Pity there isn't a Pie, Chips and Gravy League

Before Toby's injury we were playing the 3 of them at the back, so it will be a matter of whether we stick with 4231 or go back to 343 at the expense of one of the front 4.

Either way it's a nice problem for Poch to have.

Ronnie wants his pie in batter just like at home.

Never eaten that...have had a deep fried scotch style steak pie a few times however.

Not in the last twenty years or more though!

This game has got unpredictability written all over it Ronnie,

it's a tough one to call really.

Both teams have got ability going forward, so that leaves me

thinking the winner will be the team that sets up well tactically.

Then there's also the influence of the match officials that can also

play their part.

Can't say either team can be called favourites to be honest.

COYS!

Jumping ahead of the NLD for a moment,  are you chaps aware that Juventus have only conceded one goal in their last sixteen matches!!!  We had better take our chances if we get any or we/re toast.....

Anyway back to the NLD and we simply have to win this....its the CL in or out game this.

With an almost full squad to pick from Poch has to get it right.

The game tonight will be a fascinating tussle between the old mincer and the young and progressive manager.

Lip lickin' here but that might be in anticipation of my pre match ruby.

Enjoy the game all of my friends on here.

The grunts I hope you all have a mare from the first minute bwahahaha.

Worries me that we can dominate a game like that yet only convert once and then contrive to give away two points!!
