Sending a 125cc scooter via Post

Featured Replies

Good afternoon, I checked the forum before posting, but the last info on this was around 2010.

So I was just wondering what the latest prices would be to send a 125cc scooter from Bangkok to Chiang Mai via the Post? thanks in advance.

We send a scooter from Cha-am to Sukothai about a month ago and the price was around 1500 baht,it took three days to get there.

A brand new 125 is only about 30,000...do you really love this bike?

OOPs! sorry,

I misread 1500 as 15,000.

Never mind,

silly me!

Check with the post office.

I am sure they will know.

It's 3300 from CM to Hat Yai, so yes, about 1500. PO has a chart of bike types/prices. They provide packaging. Make sure the tank's not full or they'll drain it (safety rolleyes.gif). Take some pics in case of damage.

Shipping agent can be cheaper than PO ... It was for sending cm to samui ... Or just take it on the train with you :)

Try Finding a bus company that goes direct from Bangkok, People often send bikes this way, just don't put a lot of petrol in before you send it.

Done to death in multiple threads biggrin.png

Everything has, but this is a forum, not a search engine. People are more than welcome to ask questions and get up to date info. That's what we're here for.

Nothing changed about Logispost since last month.

Thats why I linked to the thread where I have given up to date and substantial info.

Ummm I am not in Thailand hence why I'm asking here genius. Or is your brain too small to possibly work this out on your own? you grumpy old fool.

Did the reply by Hedgehog really call for that abusive reply, too many people on TV have a real bad attitude,

how could he possibly work out from your OP, that you were not in Thailand.

Exactly. The OP asks for help, then turns on one of those who gives that help.
