HUA HIN;- The Petchaburi Governor Mr. Monthien Thongnit the opening ceremony of a cycling event to commemorate the 87th birthday anniversary of His Majesty, named ‘Cycling to our Father’s Home’. This event started from the Cha-Am lookout to the Chang Hua Man Royal Project in Tha Yang District. Apart from cyclists from several cycling groups and clubs, the opening also attended by the Cha-Am district chief Mr. Parinya Phothisat and the Mayor of ChaAm Mr. Nukul Pornsomboonsiri.
‘Cycling to our Father’s Home’ aims to express gratitude to His Majesty the King whose contribution has been invaluable for Thailand and Thai people. The cycling event also allowed participants to know more about the Chang Hua Man project area, enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cha-Am and realise how important good health is for everybody.
The cyclists come from 13 cycling groups. The awards were in two categories; the most beautiful procession and the team with the most participants. Prizes were awarded to Wan Yen Phetchaburi Team, Boh Fai Hua Hin, Naresuan, Chom Tawan Thab Sakae, Ban Krud Cyclists and TOT Bike Hua Hin.
