bramds
Does anyone know if this is coming to Thailand? As per usual, Yamaha Thailand doesn't have a clue

Popular Post Dutchbike
You mean this one? That's one cool looking bike, prefer this kinda styling much better then the transformer styled naked bikes. No idea if Yamaha will bring it out here, maybe on special request ( with special price)

Dutchbike
This one even looks better, modified with Ohlins could have been worse. This bike reminds of toecutters bike in Mad Max.

The CB1100 will go down in price middle of this year. Somehow I like the look of the XJR1300 more, personal preferences and all that. What do you mean they modified it before selling it? You are talking about the "cafe racer" version. There is also a "normal" model on the market. A little bit the same what they did with the Bolt, released a normal and a cafe, looks like a lot of them do that now, even Suzuki with the new GD110. I guess Stallions started it :-)

The XJR does look better. Between the aluminium cylinders and the exhaust pipes it's a sea of shiny metal on the CB. The XJR on the other hand has highlights that catch your eye.

Great all round bike tho i'm not keen on the new Racer version Have owned four, since 2001, change up every 3 years or so. Present one is 2013 hotted motor..about 135 RWHP again a great fun bike. Best i like=no electronic aids ,a bike as a bike should be, in my opinion. My preference. Paint them all included latest one in 2001-3 colours . Not my bike, just to show colour scheme. Hopho
I suppose the 'Hand Crafted Keino Motorcycles' sign behind does offer a clue.

The modded one is not in my style at all You can still buy the stock model instead. This from Yamaha; The XJR1300 Racer is a based on the Yard Built custom by Deus Ex Machina called “Eau Rouge“. The special edition model is a cafe racer variant made with parts from Yamaha’s parts and accessories catalog. The Racer adds a carbon fiber fairing, a short carbon front fender and clip-on handlebars to deliver a ’70s-inspired cafe racer look. Other additions include an aluminum front fender stay and a carbon cover for the passenger seat. Edited February 25, 2015 by garryjohns

I'll keep my older one for a couple of years and keep developing it. Edited February 25, 2015 by garryjohns
