Want to rent house in Chum Phae

Featured Replies

Anybody who know about a house or condo to rent in Chum Phae ASAP

Why do you want to stay in Chum Phae? I have a friend living there (Norwegian) and he says that the place has absolutly nothing. But maybe this link will be of some help.

You will probably have a hard time to find something via internet/forums (in English).

For that the farang community in Chum Phae is much too small.

You would have to look around on the spot.

There are some farang meeting places (like the "Star Bar" formerly "Bens Bar") where you probably get directions/contacts.

For a temporary stay (to look around) there are numerous cheap hotel/resort places.

Glad you got sorted out FrodeP. Hope you enjoy your stay in Chum Phae. I don't know how someone can say the place has got nothing. I for one am very happy here .

Nice couple Ben and Nat.

He's sold the bar then?

I'd go to Ben's bar and ask. Those guys would point you in the right direction. There was a place next door to that bar for rent.

Yes, Ben has sold the bar.

Now named "Star Bar".

Some redesign.

I forgot the name of the new host.

I am only there about any other fortnight (next on 21 March in the afternoon).

There are always houses on rent and farangs and their wifes who will do some "brokerage" (for a fee whistling.gif ).

Must admit i had 2 friends stay there when they came to visit me and said it was 2 good days they missed out of their lives.biggrin.png

Not udon or bangkok but a lovely place to settle.

I'd love to know what price Ben sold for.

He was asking 1 mill, way way overpriced, maybe half that would be closer imo.

Still, had some great times there, friendly bunch of locals always a laugh.

Not sure when this year I'll be back in Chumpae, but I'll definitely stop in for a beer, love Chumpae great little town.
