Farang City

Recommended Posts

Recently, I saw the concept of Arab Town being considered.

What do you think about a farang community or city outside Pattaya?

Buy a housing system and lease the land for XX years? Swimming pool , access to golf, 20-30 km to Pattaya City, hospital, shopping and other special features.

Just an concept to put through the idea mill.

The idea of a community away from Pattaya ( 20-30km) for the retired and legal expats who would like to own their own homes. Not the tourist trash or the likes floating around Pattaya.

Long term expats and legally retired expats. People who share common interests, demographics and love Thailand. Similar to Nichada Thani in Bangkok.

The community would preserve some of the qualities of their cultures while being able to live in Thailand with all its bonuses. Like the Japanese, Chinese, Koreans, Arabs and Indians do throughout the world including Thailand.

The TV crowd is clearly not the market. :D

I too don't like most of the farangs that I meet in Thailand, but I have some farang friends that share the same ideas and customs. Most are mature and responsible folks with a common goal of living in Thailand and having a quality life.

Should have known that the TV crowd wouldn't work. Just continue living in your very Thai condos away from other farangs. :o

:D

Yep, putting all the other Farangs in one place so that I can more easily avoid bumping into them sounds like a good idea.

Surely though, a community full of pastey whities will be dangerous to Thai national security?

And putting all the Arabs together is not? :o
