  • ^^ I'm with you TaninThai...the only known fault was the inherited one from the CBR, and that was the cam chain tensioner. As for the other probs mentioned...???? No faults on my bike, or two friends

  • I used to do some adventure riding with a DTracker with KLX wheels. The KLX is a capable adventure bike that can do technical riding: 45 degree grades, 1/2 meter of water, no trail at all; etc. My f

For those who are considering the CRF now, go for the Rally! Then no mods are needed...

From people I talk to - who do much off road both here and Laos - Cambodia ... If you ride mainly dirt - KLX.  If you ride mainly street - CRF

Any mods the CRF needs the Rally needs more. Same bike - just more weight.

One of the guys I ride off-road with has a KLX...next to no difference TBH

After suspension mods then the CRF and the KLX are basically the same bike......except you can get way more farkles and goodies for the CRF than you can for the KLX.

Just had a look at her web blog and there is no mention of Honda sponsoring her (http://www.stephmoto-adventurebikeblog.com/ )...and before she left she was on Thumper Talk quite a bit and it was her and her dad doing the maintenance/prep work on the bike.

Thanks for the wonderful discussions between the bikes. However if you were to watch her video, she did mentioned that the bike was given to her by honda as she said that she don't have the money to buy one..

the Honda 250 rally is maybe one of the best choice for traveling in Southeastasia
