Water supply cut off for parts of Phuket

PHUKET: Water supply to parts of Phuket will be cut off today (April 18) as Phuket Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) staff work to fix a burst main.

The 560mm pipe cracked in front of Baan Bang Jo facility in Srisoonthon.

The PWA announced that areas affected are Srisoonthon, Kamala, Cherng Talay, Paklok, as well as Thepkassattri Rd.

The PWA said the water would remain off until tomorrow, when repairs are completed.

My part of Patong never gets any water most days of the year. Oh well ....
