A recent pharmacy graduate has been arrested for running an illegal beauty clinic in Pathum Thani. The graduate, who doesn’t have a license, was allegedly giving illegal skin-whitening services and botox injections.

The clinic, Ploysamon Beauty & Spa, was raided by health officials and a team from the Consumer Protection Division. The illegal clinic was located at Muang Ek housing estate in the Muang district.

The raid followed a series of complaints from the public that the clinic was providing unlicensed services, including filler and botox injections. Officials seized a number of items from the clinic, including new needles and unregistered medicines.

Ploysamon Panittraipop, 30, had claimed to be the clinic’s owner and gave the botox injections to customers. Ms. Ploysamon was detained.

Initial investigations found that the woman had yet to obtain her license and was a recent pharmacy graduate from a well-known university. Ms. Ploysamon has been charged with selling medications and performing cosmetic procedures without a license.

According to Pol Col Paithoon, the clinic was also offering inexpensive skin-whitening services, which attracted customers. But when the procedures failed to whiten their skin, customers began complaining. The clinic was also selling its unregistered products online. Customer complaints and online sales of their products led to the raid on the clinic.
