Looking for a bass player based in Chiang Mai to form a new band.

Will start practicing in mid-October, and already have a drummer, singer and guitarist. Also have a place to rehearse, centrally located in CM.

Lots of influences and no clear direction yet. The groove will decide.

Hendrix, RHCP, Posies, Neil Young, Black Crowes, Pink Floyd, Early Smashing Pumpkins, Black Sabbath, Jet, etc.

Always knew there were lots of bass players in CM, but seriously guys, can you ease up on the PMs, I barely have time to read all the applications, let alone answer them.

Sounds like promising material, hope you find a bassist. I suggest hanging out in the area around Babylon and Heaven Beach, that's where you'll find most of the roving musos in town, the ones without regular gigs elsewhere. Also the tiny bar next to Panda GH, a handful of the same crowd there.
