I wonder if anyone could tell me where I can find a good do-it-all interior shop in Bangkok (would be 'John Lewis' type in UK) for things like: beds, tables, chairs, throws, rugs, pictures, decorative items, curtains, pillows, etc, etc, etc. Basically everyting that makes a home a home, I'm thinking Kelly Hoppen design "East meets West", good quality local stuff as well...

I am more into the modern look -including this sort of thing which I am pleased to see is made locally (both from an aesthetic and price point of view!): Art Of Living

I know there is now a Habitat store in Bangkok and have heard it's very expensive (probably fantastic imported Italian stuff!), any other favourites?

have a look at the large Index Living Mall on a higher floor of the MBK shopping center (just across the walkway from Habitat located in Siam Discovery)....
