Does any one know a good service to apply for extension of none o visa based on having a child. I will enter Thailand with 30 days tourist visa. I will have all relevant documents, money court order proof as the father of child who is Thai citizen, Yellow book

Ideally, you should get a single-entry non-O visa form a Thai consulate before travelling to Thailand.

Alternatively, if you arrive without a visa and plan to apply for one-year extensions of stay, you will have to use the service of the local immigration office responsible for the area where you live with your child to apply for the non-O or, of this office is not authorised to issue it, submit your application to the Bangkok immigration office.

Extensions of stay are always obtained by using the "services" of the Thai Immigration Service .

There are NO 30 day tourist visas !

Entering Thailand with 30 day "visa exempt" entry is a poor idea which will involve significant difficulty if your aim is to secure an extension of stay.

A single entry NON "O" visa should be obtained from a Thai Embassy /Consulate , using all the "relevant documents " available, Prior to travelling to Thailand

Please let us know how the extension goes, including all required funds/money.and paperwork you showed. And how long it took to get the extension stamp.
