Carabao & Parn In Ubon

Hi all

Last week I saw a sign in front of Nevada which I think advertised a concert by Carabao and Parn. Since I don't read Thai I took a photo withmy phone and took it to school with me. After showing it to some students I found out that the show is October 28. (Could also be September How are we supposed to grok the language if the locals have problem?) A friend of mine told me its dangerous to go to Carabao concerts. What's the story? I have been told the same thing each time I went to see Sek Loso. Are concerts that scary to Thai people. I know Sek Loso seems to scare the local police considering how many cops are at the shows with billy clubs out and the number of police in riot gear. I never went to a show in America where the paddy wagon was waiting before the show started and I attended some wild shows in my day.
