Chiang Mai & Kunming strike spa deals

CHIANG MAI, 22 May 2015 (NNT) – Thai and Chinese business operators have signed agreements to promote the expansion of Thai health products and services to China.

The signing of the agreements took place at the Hall of Design, Office of Foreign Trade in Chiang Mai Province. Those who struck the deals with Thai operators consist of members of major public and private agencies from Yunnan Province, including tourism and health companies and Kunming Woman Vocational School.

According to Vijit Yang, President of ASEAN-China Economy and Trade Promotion Association, Chinese health and spa operators in Kunming City are interested opening massage and spa therapy schools in Yunnan Province and in importing health products from Thailand. He added that the signing of the deal would pave the way for Thai spa operators to expand their businesses into China, the major market of Asia.

Aside from the signing of business agreements, the Office of Foreign Trade has impressed Chinese operators with a showcase for specially-selected health and spa products and demonstrations of traditional Thai massage therapy.

This means that touroperators get al the money. Cinese tourist will not spend money in a free market. Bussinesses like spa and hotel get squeesed out to work for almost nothing and a few people get it all. Know your history and you also know the future of this.
