He takes over as manager of Stevenage on 1st June. Nice to see a top class ex-player starting his management career down at this level. Teddy was never too proud to play at a lower level either. Would a Gerrard or a Terry take this route to the top or do big time players today expect to walk into the top jobs after some coaching at the club, Giggs for example? It does seem that a career in media is preferable for many anyway.
