Has anyone recently applied for a tourist visa for their thai wife/girlfriend. I got one in 2013 for my wife and am going to apply again. I used a visa agency in 2013 who were good but expensive, i am not sure whether to use them again or do it myself as it should be easier second time around.

Would like to hear about anyones recent experience and if there have been any changes.

If you read some of the threads on this forum, have a read through them and it will give you an idea on recent experiences.

For most straightforward applications it's generally accepted that the use of an agent isn't always necessary.

ECO's seem to be calling some applicants if there is any doubt in their minds, so it's imperative that applications are robust and leave no room for doubt.

Maybe outline your circumstances and the guys can advise, it's worth noting that the vast majority of applications are successful.
