Need To Replace Guttering - Any recommendations please

Featured Replies

As stated above my guttering, normal cheap galvinised material, needs replacing after just 4 years.

Have seen on the forum a few options and opinions but would like to get others.

Do I go for PVC that is is UV protected or painted galvanised?

Naturally cost to a certain extent will come into the equation but I want something that will last.

I live in the Buriram area and haven't found someone who supplies qualty guttering

PVC cheap and lasts longer than the 4 years you mention.

windsor uvpc.ours have been up over 4yrs and no discolouring at all.

i will pm.you with the bloke no.that done ours.cant fault him in any way.

no.to follow later.

If you can afford the little extra....go with Stainless gutters. I have just changed out a couple after 4 yrs, that had Gal guttering....The Gal here is so thin in places along the gutter, you can just about see through it.....Low quality crap...

Do it once and forget it......Stainless is my choice.

PVC guttering is ok. After a certain time it becomes brittle so posing a ladder on it becomes risky. I will be doing the entire house with PVC guttering soon, sick of leaking holes appearing.
