But usually you will be asked for an extra months rent as a deposit.

Popular ST apartments used by most farang for longer term stays. Rent was 2500-4200 baht based on size and location not including electricity but did include cable tv with a few english channels. 1StSmonthmupufront and one months deposit, very standard. There are very few, if any, rental properties listed online. Once in town hit up a few of the farang hang outs like mut mee, brendans, chilis and you will get flooded with options. If you are from australia hit up the many girlie bars in ozzie alley by the white inn and you will get some good advice as well
