I've just started looking into a trip to London to take in a game. I have no idea as to how easy, or tough, it is to get a ticket. Timing is still up in the air as I'm coordinating with a buddy who'll be traveling from BKK. He's an Arsenal fan and initially we are looking at the match with Spurs on November 7.

Can a ticket(s) be had or am I pissing in the wind ? Other games might be easier rather than this rivalry game ? City and Liverpool in Manchester the 21st of November ?

Have you tried any of the fans forums mate?

I do know on RAWK people are often flogging tickets.

I've not. My level of ignorance about this topic is not to be underestimated. All advise welcome and thanks !wai2.gif

Jelly, don't forget there will still be changes to the fixtures in November. I think they are all still planned for 3pm on the Saturday's and so some will change to early kick off, late kick off, change to Sunday or Monday. There may also only be 3 prem match weekends that month as usually there is some international breaks slotted in at that time.

The City V Liverpool game will be tricky but if you give me enough notice I will try and sort you out with a couple of tickets. If in London (not being funny) but I reckon a ticket for a West Ham home game shouldn't be too hard to get a ticket

Most Arsenal games would be relatively easy to get a couple of tickets JD but the derby with us would be extremely difficult.

It goes without saying its tough to get tickets for any Spurs game. biggrin.png

West Ham is the easiest option for sure unless they are playing a big club.

If I'm around I might manage a beer or three JD but I do remember what a lightweight you are of course....maybe Buenos Aries has toughened ya up! laugh.png

We sell out most games, but I can always get tickets in the free piss weak budweiser prawn sandwich ring.

As for your mob, don't they give them away with the day passes as part of Care in the Community?

Over 20000 on the waiting list for season tickets at the Lane.

I guess at the library its 0 then.

As of May about 40,000, which apparently equates to 11 years.

Actually it would be easier or have been easier to get one at Palace or QPR.

I see from the list Spurs flounder just above us in 9th due to their extra 1000

odd seats.post-118612-14380822335331_thumb.jpg

I see from the list also that makes our average attendance some 99.6% full capacity the highest for any EPL club.

The stats don't lie.

Hence the new stadium.

Stoney, I wasn't having a go, that was the reason I mentioned West Ham. Filling up your old ground is one thing but I would imagine tickets will be quite freely available at the new stadium. We'll see

JD best tell your mate to get on the Arse website and look...on ours there is an affiliate site where tickets unwanted are bought and sold....often at face value.

You just need to be on at the right time...perseverence is the key there.

Jellydog you are a city fan, I cannot understand while you are in England you are not moving heaven and earth to go and watch them.

Read his post nev. His mate is an Arsenal fan, so he wants to try and get a ticket for that and also he asked about the City and Liverpool game but realises they will probably be hard to come by

Much thanks for all of the pointers !

Thanks MrB about the reminder of schedule changes. That possibility had slipped by me. I will let you know about the Liverpool game. When do the fixtures take final shape regarding exact day and time ?

I'd much rather see City but time, place and my Gunner buddy may lead to Arsenal. Much to be worked out and I expect some detours along the way.

I know, only adding some stats to the equation.

Indeed it will be interesting to see our home average when the move does go ahead?

I know that Mr B,merely adding some stats to the mix just for fun.

It will be interesting indeed to see what sort of average gates we get at home after the move.

I'm quietly confident that whilst playing in the Premier League at least we should do ok.

Yes mate, remember you farmed yours out to some legalized ticket touts?

We run our own exchange and spares are usually taken up by Gold and Silver members first, then Red members get the last crack.

It is extremely rare that Arsenal tickets go on general sale, usually for cup games against smaller teams where we field our youngsters.

Fortunately I do know a couple of people who are responsible for redistributing tickets, so I rarely have a problem, although they are obviously like rocking horse poo for games against our fellow big teams (and the tiny totts biggrin.png ).

A pity. Looks like I'll have to tell my entourage of wanton sluts that what we won't be visiting the great and powerful Smokie. They were so looking forward to meeting you. I told them that instead we might go see Alfie in Chiang Mai and they started crying. One of them sobbed so hard she break her bustier.smile.png
