Very interesting watching all the internet goofballs broadcasting there private lives for all too see.

I'm sure it also has some redeaming qualities as wel like chatting live with loved one all around the globe for free...

or

watching live media event like I watched yesterday of Donald Trump in my hometown the other day

Its works fine for me here from Thailand except when I broadcast it is just voice no video...

I got good internet speed and all else seems too work fine....

Anybody out there using the app Periscope ?

Na, the submarine bid last I heard was Subway was the winning bidder, but they neglected to mention it was only a foot long, and smiles all around to save face.

I tried it on wifi on my note 5 and I can NEVER get a single stream to load. I think I managed one only. Never tried broadcasting but app is super hungry in 10 mins drained almost 12% of battery.

I don't know if Periscope will work between Thailand and my spot, northern CA. I would like to set up a test with someone in Thailand to see if we can show off some local event/activity/hangout that each of us likes and are willing to share/tantalize the other. Having done refugee work in the 80's at Aranyaprathet in Prachinburi (now Sa Kaeo) Province of Thailand [the camp was Khao-I-Dang], I fell in love with the place, people and food! Now I'd like to explore the possibilities of good friends there taking me to some of their favorite spots and I'll take them to some awesome places here on the Lost Coast of CA.

They are not too techy, unlike me, and consequently are playing the Nancy Reagan card..just say no. If someone has had success with intercontinental Periscope, I'd love to know that and then can guide my friends into setting up an event they can share with me and a whole lot of other facebook friends and vice versa, I'll take them to some awesome spots we have here on the Lost Coast that are not in any tourist guide.
