Identical as it turns out 750 Baht so go with Hotel pick up you suggest ??

Both the hotel and Phuketshuttle offer no BS. Either will be okay.

If the same then best go with the hotel pick-up. 750 baht seems to me more than Ok.

Tell her you will pay the 250 baht for the both of you on the bus, and you will give her the difference, 500 baht.

I'm sure she will love the bus idea. biggrin.png

Bingo

Good idea to take the bus, especially since you will take a Tuk-Tuk/Taxi in Patong to go from the bus station to the hotel. Poof! There goes your benefit of the bus tariff.

Bus stops behind Jungceylon hopefully he booked a hotel around that area..

Is there an airport bus to Karon as well?

The airport bus to Patong was planned to continue through to Karon and Kata. But the taxi mafia would not allow that. Maybe one day this extension to the route will be allowed.

Can I just say that the comment about my Partner thinking I was a Peasant if we took the bus was actually tongue in cheek !

Thanks LivinginKata, I assume this bus uses the same stop at the Airport as the Airport bus for Phuket town?

For those who are interested, here is the schedule for this bus:
