They informed me that I have to pay 1.35million THB to put new HV cables over ground on concrete poles. <...> <...> Can solar really enable a place to go off grid? The info on this site seems to have plenty of doubts. Anyone out there achieved this? Johnsysh, Photo Voltaic and Passive Solar could be a viable alternative to your current issue. If you list your Villas power requirements and the amount of potential surface area available (east, south, west facing roof space, open land space) that can potentially be covered with panels and passive collectors then a discussion can determine options and costs.
