Just got back from my first trip to Isaan to visit my lady's family.

I didn't stay in Kap Cheong (as per my post 4-weeks ago), but stayed at a hotel in Prasat (450 bht per night) - no hotel safe.

I managed to see a couple of farangs on 22-Sep and 23-Sep both of whom said hello/nodded to me whilst I was in the market, so if you're out there hello again.

I'm hoping to go back again, maybe stay closer to Kap Cheong, so if anyone knows of a place let me know.

I did get dragged off to Surin to eat 'Thai Food', only to find the whole street had piled into a truck and we went to 'Big C' and guess who paid??

I had the address for 'Farang Connection' but was unable to locate it in the brief journey through Surin, hopefully next time I'll arm myself with a map.
