Mine was out during that time as well and then again since late last week. But it just came back sometime during the day today. I am watching now.

Hope this was the last time the servers were migrated for a long time.

I hope they get maige tv back- i heard they are trying - some legal issues in china i understand. It is by far, far far the best on demand and live TV system out there in thailand in terms of picture quality and selection of channels! .

I emailed them a few times and they always had answered. They were changing servers. But i emailed them again the other day and no response this time.

I googled the other night but found no info on what's going on . If its legal trouble i hope its resolved soon. Another weekend with no hockey!

They are not answering mail, and the contact number is disconnected. Doesn't look good at the moment !

Man. I was watching the VOD the whole time but now can't even load the program. Just get the message olease check if your internet is alright. Guess they've skipped town!

Had the VOD going until 6pm. Now just got home and its nit working. Hope its just and internet thing.

I finally got a reply from Maige to the numerous emails I have sent. Not sure why it takes many, many emails to get this answer so this answer is just buttering the bread in my opinion. This email is signed by the same person that sent the one a few months ago saying the servers would be down and we would get some credit to our annual accounts. No mention of credit this time though.

Dear Customer!

The Maige TV service is experiencing server problems. This affects the live channels, VOD content should work fine.

The factory is currently working on a permanent solution to prevent such issues in the future. Unfortunately this takes time. Current ETA for recovery is early December. For some channels and locations it might happen sooner though.

We understand your frustration and apologize for the problems. The current issue affects most of the Chinese IPTV providers and many of those probably won't survive it. Maige is a big enough service though and will recover once the necessary steps are taken.
Until then we kindly ask you for patience.

PS: this is an automatic reply. Due to the volume of emails we are unable to answer individually unfortunately. Should you have specific questions or issues not related to the current problem please reply to this email.

Yes I agree it was a way to try and appease the customers so they will stop emailing and complaining. Maige support is really doing some dance around whatever the real issue is. My bet is that the service is at the end of its life and they cannot find a way to resolve it. We can only wait and see if they come back from the dead. As with the pirated True a few years back this service will I am afraid fall also.

Well as of 5 minutes ago my Maige box will not connect to the system at all now. A day or two ago it was connecting but any of the drama channels were not up tto date with the latest TV episodes and the VOD has not had any new movies added for some time.

I think we are witnessing the Maige system going out of service for many of us.

I will keep trying to connect once a day for the near future I guess as writing emails is fruitless.

Update! Ihave not checked my Maige box for a few days until last night. As of last night the box would not connect to any service from Maige and error message said "check your internet connection".

I think things are going downhill and Maige may not be back.

The downtime period will be compensated with additional subscription once the service is restored.

I thought I would kick start this topic today just for fun?

Now it's almost April and I just turned on my Maige TV box first time in a month or two. Same as before the box tries to connect to a server the 6 times and errors out saying check your internet connection.

I guess Maige is DEAD!!! All they need is to announce the funeral and burial times.
