Stuff to level poorly poured concrete slab?

Hi all,

I had a slab of concrete put in next to the house. I prepared everything beautifully with a 3% slope and a large drain gutter, but the guys who did the concrete did a sloppy job. I am now left with a slab that has some dents here and there and some rough patches. Is there a product/brand I can use to make it more or less smooth, so the water runs of nicely? Afterwards I will coat with an epoxy primer and two layers of polyurethane topcoat, so the 'concrete leveling stuff' doesn't have to be concrete color, but should adhere to the concrete properly. Oh, and something that dries within a few hours, so that the frequent rains don't ruin it. Thanks!

That does look good. But I can't grind away 1+cm deep dents...

Wouldn't the polyurethane fill and level the dents? Anyway, it seems you could use just about any kind of filler - including cement - if you're going to top it with that. Or, just tile it.

I would tile it for sure....But as above, use the epoxy or polyurethane to do the same thing....Tiles are cheaper, and if the slab cracks later( which is highly probable), it's cheaper to repair...RESIN is expensive here, and unless you intend to do yourself, dont bother.....There are not many Thais who know how to work resins properly...

Make sure the concrete is completely dry before you do and put the epoxy on FIRST....If thats the way you go with it.....

I bought and was very happy with the results of Lanko 123 self leveling mortar. It is available at most any Lanko Products dealer. I paid less in Buriram at a family owned builders merchants store than the advertised price of Boonthavorn Home Improvement Store advertises for Lanko 123. Weber makes great tile grout, but they do not sell floor leveling compound mortar in Thailand. The OP can obtain a level floor with this Lanko Product, but it might not give him a slope. Lanko 173 or Lanko 188 are also self leveling mortar available at builders merchants stores in Thailand.
