Some nav buttons/links on mobile don't work anymore

Featured Replies

Browsing thaivisa.com using Safari on an iPhone. The general member button does not work anymore. Also when using direct URL address of 'New content' it loads that page, but the subbuttons such as 'by time' and 'More' do not work. Made some screenshots to add as pictures, but need to switch to non-mobile view to do so. The link for this at the bottom of each page also does not work. Please fix!

I'm having problems on android. I cannot use the 'quote' button and the menu button doesn't work.

As a result I can't see notifications or read/write messages.

Some browsers do not display some websites correctly on mobile phones. Safari seems to be one of them. I suggest that you try the app Thaivisa Connect.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

I'm having issues with the mobile version of the site too. The button at the top right that should pop up the menu grid is no longer working, as are a few other things. This is on Android.

I have been using the site perfectly well on my mobile until today, and now, like other users, I am experiencing problems.

I have also found out that the 'full version' button doesn't work, so there is no way at all to quote, view notifications, read/send/receive messages or to use any menu functions.

^ agree with Blackcab above. It was working fine before. Nothing changed to my browsing device, so the problem must have occurred following a recent change to the Thaivisa software.

Yep .... No full version - no edit/quote - no 4 button function at the right top - no > button on threads = all.....No way to message or sign off/on - Android

Pretty useless site now....

Please remedy....

Yesterday the > dropped - today all the listed other functions kaput....

Can't wait until tomorrow....

^pgrahmm. I gave you a 'like'. But you won't be able to see it ;-)

I think the new owners golf the site forgot to employ tech staff...

Well, at least I managed to get a lot of work done yesterday and today, with the Thaivisa mobile site not working :-).

The problem with switching to the full web browser version has been referred to the tech team today, I have been informed. Hopefully, they can fix it soon.

As far as I can see, the mobile version is working fine on my Android phone with the exception of the "Full Version" button, which problem is being looked into now.

The 'four squares' menu button at the top right is still broken for me, which pretty much makes the site unusable.

I can't even log in on mobile version. Laptop log-in ok. The 4 square grid thing at the top right corner won't work.

Has anyone noticed that a portion of the quote function doesn't work now?

When you used to look at quoted replies, it used to say something like "blackcab said:" at the top of the quoted post.

Now there is nothing, so when you read nested quotes you have no idea who said what.

All the problems I itemized on an earlier post still are in-op.....Just plain not working and making the site unservicable for the most part.....

Maestro

I would have boxed your quote here if the button worked but it does not show at all - either do the edit buttons. ....

Seems everyone had it all working correctly until that one same day.....

Maestro....

Any progress/updates - fixes being done?

So far the, "My flashlight works fine even though the neighborhood is blacked out" response isn't doing too much for the rest of us.....

Same concerns still exist.....

Please fix all said issues of mobile view site. From this and other threads I see it affect Android, iOS and Windows Phone devices, so it's clear the fault lies with the ThaiVisa software. Ridiculous how long this is taking...

Ditto.....about four days now.

Give it time. These things have to go to the app developer.

I noticed all the above problems and from other threads i have noticed many (like me) have to log in every few hours, which is very annoying in itself.

As that blue square on the right is not working i couldnt find a way to even log in.

Finally i found that if you hit the tick 'like' button on someones post ( while not logged in) the error page loads and the sign in link appears.

thats the only way ive been able to sign in.

Even after you have signed in that way, often another error page appears that says a mistake happened in the login, but when you go to threads the "reply" tab appears as if you are signed in!

Today I have the same problem on my Samsung mobile Internet browser, can't change from mobile to full website. Also same problem using Chrome. Found Firefox can still change from mobile to full website. ..a short term work around while the boffins sort the problem.

^UPDATE

Firefox crashed (that's a first crash in over 2 years!!) when it came back it now will only load mobile not full version. ..NO WORKAROUND.

Any update on when this will be fixed?

Still broken here. No menu button. No quote button. No edit button. No full version.

Would be nice if someone at least acknowledged these issues, let alone fixed them.

Maybe the idea is to drive all mobile phone users to TVF app.

Wonder if they got hacked and have no clue how to fix....

Taking extremely long for a fix....

I know my email spam count jumped the day after and continues to but don't know if happenstance.....

Maybe the idea is to drive all mobile phone users to TVF app.

I also suspect this.

Not hard to fix a button on a mobile site.

I would agree. It's a push for the app.

Can't use reply button in the iPhone browser. Not edit posts etc.

Don't particularly like the app...

Can't use reply to button in the iPhone browser when trying to respond to a post. Not edit button either.
