libya 115
1. Does the new airport have an up-to-date new website; (I cannot find one on google)? 2. Are there any pay-in lounges at Suvarnabhumi, like the old Louis lounge at Dong-Muang? Thanks.

Maestro
2. Are there any pay-in lounges at Suvarnabhumi, like the old Louis lounge at Dong-Muang? In this post, steakpudding mentions having been in the Louis Tavern Lounge at Suvarnabhumi on 1 October 2006. --------------- Maestro
indothai
Website ?!!! Complete utter joke!!! Rubbish, embarrassing, mind-numbingly idiotic !!!! It took over 20 yrs for them to build a new airport, it'll take another 20 for them to build a decent website. The official website needs to be updated, I think the last time they "touched" it was back in the 80's with sporadic news updates here and there. "International" airport ?, but most of their news/language is in Thai?!! Somebody, wake-up the webmaster and tell him/her to compare the site to other "International" airports in the region. Maestro thanks for the link, I'll be flying in for the weekend and your link is the best so far.
OneeyedJohn
Yeah but have u seen the AOT adverts on Thai TV.. Makes it look very impressive
indothai
I've seen some adverts on the new airport on TV, I'm not living in BKK at the moment.... the adverts looks good. BUT, the website should contain USEFUL information important to passangers that is easy to find. I'd rather not spend 2 hrs clicking on every link trying to figure out what is what. Their "unofficial" website is a little messy and the adverts makes it look cheesy.

indothai
This is sad, someone hijacked the site traffic from the "offical" website because there is no "official" website. It is out-dated, Maestro has pointed out the official website: "http://www.airportthai.co.th/"
