Obama invited to deliver State of the Union address on January 12
BY BNO NEWS

WASHINGTON: -- U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan has formally invited President Barack Obama to deliver the annual State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress on the evening of January 12.

“As we look ahead to the new year, we have both an opportunity and an obligation to find common ground to advance the nation’s interests at home and abroad,” Ryan said in a letter to Obama. “We also owe it to the American people to present solutions that address the challenges they face.”

The Republican from Wisconsin welcomed the president to deliver his speech on January 12 at 9 p.m. ET.

Obama's accomplishments:

1. I have created a near perfect socialist state with my Health Care Plan that has increased the cost of health care for every citizen that makes an income higher than the poverty line.

2. I have given Iran the ability to finally make a nuclear bomb with our blessing.

3. I have been a coward and only tried to fight ISIS/ISIL/IS with bombs which I know aren't doing much.

4. I have happily added billions to the national debt without a care in the world as to what it will do to the future of our country.

5. I have tried to give amnesty to hundreds of thousands of Hispanics so that I can make a mockery of the immigration system for those American citizens who have to follow very tough rules just to get a fiance or relatives of a foreign spouse into America.

6. I have improved our relations with Cuba, but I forgot to end the automatic "residence" of a Cuban who makes it to an American border and now more Cubans than ever are coming to America looking for that "automatic permanent residence" before it is ended, making a further mockery of the immigration system normal citizens have to plow their way through.

Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out...good riddance Obama.

He's been a disappointment. Gitmo not closed, gun controls not introduced. Hopefully Hillary will do better!

I think your idea of "better" is not shared by the majority of the voting population of the USA.

Personally, I am surprised they didn't come up with some excuse not to invite him.

Is this news? Assume every US president is invited to do this?
