Anyone know of anywhere that stocks Christmas Puddings in the Phetchabun area ?
We normally go to Bangkok or Pattaya, but I'd rather stay home this year.
Thanks

Tip S/B have just come back and they are digging up Sukhumwit road now reduced to 2 lanes each way, cant enter Klang from Suk coming from north, also new drains? on 3 road the hole place is a complete shambles. Nothing new I suppose.

Topps has also gone from Klang/2rd. Other than that it's the usual high prices + the dregs of humanity.

Its a small world, we were talking about Christmas pudding at home to night ,and I thought ,make one ,can not get suet in Thailand ,I am going try and find a suet less Christmas pudding recipe form the internet .

I live in Lopburi not far from bkk the thought of going to bkk , trawling around supermarkets ,and the high prices ,the thought of making one appeals to me , I think I can get most of the ingredients, mixed spice ,might be hard to find locally , could be fun .

If you care to Google Mary Berry Christmas you will find her recipe for Christmas pudding that doesn't have any suet most of the bits should be available locally.

I've never found Suet in Thailand either. Good luck !

Chang Mai Rim ping sells suet. BKK Villa and Food Land also sell.

Have a feeling that Big C extra also likewise.

Most recipes that require Suet butter can be substituted instead.

EG, Dumplings just need S/Raising flour butter water. Much lighter end product, they even puff up bigger and don't go hard if left till the next day.
