Well I didn't see the website, but I'm sure it was a switch/bait tactic just to draw punters in. Course who knows maybe they were doing what they were promoting. BTW what was the website url Dave-I'll have to check it out at a more convenient time!!! :o

I thought the story about them being raided because of the Los Angeles link was ridiculous when I received the text, however after the recent website change and the fact that I don't believe Banglamung Officials could make something like that up, in fact they wouldn't bother to make up such an elaborate story. I think it is 100% true!!!

Howard- can you follow up on the website lead? I'm interested to know what exactly prompted them to raid- I'd be honest I don't know the faintest about the legalities when it comes to web content in Thailand.

Howard...what was exactly on the website? The only thing I can assume are lewd acts, but again I don't know what the law is in Thailand regarding website content. :o

I haven't actually seen the website and are unsure about the internet laws in Thailand. However, I would guess that they did not get done for the website, but because of the follow-up visit by the officials at the bar itself. As far as I know, the only type of websites which are regulated are gambling websites which are mostly blocked by the police, but there are plently they have missed. If you reside in Thailand, please don't ask me for the URL's, you might get me in trouble with the Police!!!!!
