German "Guenther" found drowned in Udon Thani - Chaiwan pond (Pattaya 2)

Featured Replies

German Expat 84 old who lived in a beautiful secluded house with 2 m walls and broken glass planted on the walls was found after he was some days missing, in a pond near his house.

The pond is locally known as "Pattaya2" as it is used as a recreation area during Song Kran times.

The man lived such a quiet, elusive life, that I living only some Kilometers away always believed he was English as locals told me that.

Today I spoke with him GF, she around 50 old and she meant he had Alzheimer and sneaked one night out of the bed without her realizing it, took the car and drove to a pond some Kilometers away where he was some days later found drowned.

He was a good man I was told, was not married to the Thai woman, but had looked that all is clear,

all in Germany is for his son and all in Thailand all in the Gfs name including the Bank account.

Nobody seemed to be suspicious his German son allowed the burning ceremony and the funeral was already.

EDIT Re-opened due to me being unable to tell the difference between a 81 year old German and an 79 year old Thai. Sorry about that.
