SYDNEY: -- The text of tribute messages has been projected onto buildings in Sydney, to mark the first anniversary of the Lindt cafe siege.

It is a year since a fatal hostage situation at the cafe in the Australian city left several dead and wounded.

18 people were taken hostage at the Lindt cafe by an armed man brandishing an ISIL flag.

Police stormed the building after 16 hours.

This should never have happened the gut was bailed twice ,

And the police should have never shot the lady
