I was in Chiang Rai a couple of months back. Happened upon a cyclist and he insisted i stop and take his photograph.

Not sure of his name.

But I think what we've learnt from this phase of the voting is that you can easily go too long without changing the rules, and everyone appreciates a bit of unexpected drama and the occasional surprise.

The only change I have been thinking about is the TOP 5 structure for the Grand Finale. I think a case can be made for a smaller number but I don't intend to do that. Something for people to think about for next year. I think it would be unfair to change it for this year. Those who can see they are good or possibly good for the TOP 5 might feel "robbed" so I ain't gonna do it !

Prune them out, one by one;

first, the person with the lowest votes after two days

then, the person with the highest number of votes

and so on, in an entirely arbitrary and unpredictable fashion. THe public will love it - it will be like the wheel of fortune, but without the prizes.
