I was trying to decipher the advertising hoardings more than the grounds themselves as they often are linked with local businesses and the like.

The easiest one was an iconic Scottish ground.

yeah they weren't easy unfortunately i actually remembered some of the pics and a soem of the players

8 and 8. Weird - of the four I got wrong I've been to 3 of them in the 60s or 70s, whereas I had only been to about 7 of the 16 I got right. Mostly narrowed them down by the strips which haven't changed as much as you might expect.

8 & 8. Some easy and some a guess.

Anyone go to Sheff U when it was a football/cricket ground...that was wierd.

Yes quite a few times as a kid. Even with 3 sides still got 32,000 crowds.
