Immigration at Kap Choeng (Surin) - Open this Wed, Dec 30th?

Hello,

Could the immigration at Kap Choeng (Surin province) be open this Wednesday, Dec 30, or not? I'd go there by car – if you have hints for the proper location on Google maps, i'd be interested (i read it's really near the police station and not where Gmaps claims the Immigration to be).

I want a 30 days extension for my 30 days visa waiver for tourists. I do have a return ticket (the nicer one to Europe only as PDF in the mobile, and a printed alibi outbound tickset for an Air Asia hop just across the border), i do have 1900 Baht, i do have a proper passport with first visa waiver and have passport pictures. I do not have a landlord paper, as i'm just between accommodations (my last accommodation reported me properly to authorities, some other small places never asked for my passport).

A tourist who just got another 30 days in Sisaket town said she only needed passport and 1900 Baht – no passport picture (they snapped her), no onward ticket, no landlord signature. From Pattaya i read even tourists need some kind of landlord paper.

Main question would be if the immigration is open at all and at which hours. Is Jan 4 likeIy to be open? I do have the Thaivisa map of Immigration offices, but there seem to be inaccuracies.

Thanks!

Henrik , Sisaket immigration are very helpful and friendly. Krap Choeng seem to make up their own rules and specialist 'hoops' for expats to jump through IMO.
