Getting odd shape door installed. Homepro.

I need a bedroom door put in.

It is in an extra room at the top of the stairs and just has a landing leading into the bedroom. ie. No door frame.

It is 204 cm high, but the width appears to be 100cm at the bottom, and 104cm at the top.

Homepro do okay wooden doors for cheap, about 3k baht. One of these would be fine.

Though.... with no doorframe and the space for the door frame being uneven.....

Would they usually come to install a door frame too?

How would it even be done?

Wooden door frame be nailed in, then some sort of filler put in around it? Like silicone goo, for example?

Thanks.

Install a pre-hung door and then glue/nail a decorative architrave around it to cover the gaps.

Although, a 100mm deviation in width wouldn't be a normal situation. But, TIT.

Thanks. I think the deviation is 40mm.

100cm width at the bottom. 104cm width at the top.

A prehung door is one that comes already attached to the frame, i would suppose. :D

Never saw them for sale in Homepro. But a very good idea, thanks.

How does one install it?

If you can find prehung doors (I haven't seen them, but then I haven't looked

A better instruction video is on YouTube just search for "gY7o5oSwrdo"

(The full YouTube link doesn't show for me )

If you can't find prehung doors then a video showing you how to pre-hang your own is at "CZS353qjWrw"
