Wardrobe Search

Featured Replies

Hello All,

We are in BKK and have recently had a balcony at home covered as it was unused and we want to install wardrobes. The size isn't standard and at SB Design we were quoted quite a high price in my opinion as it was custom made to optimize the space.

SB Design quoted 70K THB for 390cm length and a waiting list of 1 month. Does anyone have any idea on their quality or this price is reasonable? Or suggest another manufacturer/retailer.It needs to be sliding doors as there is a step preventing doors opening outward.

We do not want built-n or Index nor Homepro.

Sorry I should have stated the custom made length was 230cm length with a similar style of 160cm separate unit and installation.

Thank you,

Regards,

James.d

Have you visited Ikea with your dimensions? They have taken a huge step up in furniture since I shopped at Ikea in the USA.

The specialists for diy sliding and folding doors here i would say are Hafele and modernform and these two suppliers sell their door gear at most of the big stores.

Its not cheap compared to hinges but good quality.

A much cheaper and cost effective way of making a long robe run would be to simply buy the standard pressed mdf doors at circa 1000bt each and simply hang them from two overhead Modernform tracks.

Would be better to upload a photo so we are not guessing the scenario.

Thank you Guys for the above info, I shall attach photo's and research Hafele. We will do a trip to IKEA, I never knew they had such a huge selection until I searched.

Thank you again,
