True internet slow

Featured Replies

Hi

I recently signed up for true internet 50mb connection fttx. It seems relatively ok during the day (still a little bit slow competitive to the speed) but in the nighttime it can be absolutely woeful, sometimes to domestic sites and sometimes to external sites.

More often than not during the night, My speed can be down to 1mbit or less on speed tests, particularly to Australian based sites, but also to other sites outside Thailand.

Has anybody had similar experiences? I live on the edge of Denha.

Thanks

Ndf

Have you complained?

Ring your service number and ask them to reset the connection if you have not.

I'm on True, just the 10 meg package, but I've been having problems with it too, recently. The connection will drop intermittently, and evenings are markedly slower. Unfortunately, I suspect that their lines are just overloaded, and often the advertised speed in this country has nothing to do with reality.
