Hi! I came to thailand by plane got 30 days on arrival visa. I want to extend it at immagration by 30 more days.

Do I need to buy a plane ticket to leave bangkok and show it to them at immagration? Is it necessary? I'm still not sure where I'll go afterwards.

No you don't need a plane ticket to apply for a 30 day extension of stay.

You do not need an air ticket to extend a visa exempt entry.

You have a visa exempt entry, not a visa.

You should be able to get a 30-day extension on payment of 1,900 baht without an outward air ticket.
